Meditation Is Your Way To SUCCESS
Meditation is God’s Purpose For His People
The Biblical Origin of Meditation comes from the Hebrew word haga which means to focus and quiet the mind. The word meditation carries different meanings in different contexts. Meditation has been practiced since antiquity as a component of numerous religious traditions and beliefs.
What is Meditation?
Meditation is a practice where an individual operates or trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or for the mind to simply acknowledge its content without becoming identified with that content, or as an end in itself. This is why God commanded Joshua to meditate:
Meditation is mandated by God for Joshua: first of all I’m sure that God would have wanted Joshua to have a more imitate relationship with Him. Secondly, God knew that there would be unparalleled power (supernatural) wisdom and other physiological and mental benefits in meditation. Which would be provided through meditating on the scriptures and observing to do what is written therein. Thirdly, God knew in order for Joshua to prosper and be successful in his assignment. He needed meditation to provide him with spiritual strength and guidance. Over the next few months I will be posting on this blog more than 100 additional Meditation benefits.
